Terms of Service
Last updated: September 11, 2026
These terms apply to the TraumaScore website, the email list, and the companion app.
Agreement
By using this site, joining the email list, or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The service is operated by the TraumaScore team (“we”, “us”).
What the service is
TraumaScore is a general wellness product that reports data about a biomarker. It is not a medical device, it is not FDA cleared, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Please read the medical disclaimer in full — it is part of these terms, and it governs how you may and may not rely on anything the product tells you.
The product is under active development. Features may change or be withdrawn, and we make no promise that any particular capability, price, or timeline described on this site will ship.
Who may use it
You must be at least 13 years old to use the service, and at least 18 to create an account. If you are under 18, an adult must supervise your use and consent on your behalf. If you use TraumaScore to test other people — as a coach, trainer, or gym operator — you are responsible for obtaining their informed consent first.
Your account
Keep your login credentials secure and let us know promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service to make clinical, diagnostic, or return-to-play decisions;
- present TraumaScore output as a medical opinion, a clearance, or evidence that someone is fit to compete;
- attempt to access another user's data, or interfere with, overload, or probe the service;
- scrape, resell, or redistribute the service or its content;
- use the service unlawfully or to harm anyone.
The email list
Joining the list means you are asking us to email you product and research updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Joining the list does not reserve a device, create a contract to buy anything, or guarantee access to any programme.
Your data and your content
You keep ownership of the measurements and information you put into the service. You grant us the licence we need to store and process that data in order to operate the service for you. Our handling of personal data is described in the privacy policy.
Our intellectual property
The TraumaScore name, logo, software, designs, and site content belong to us. These terms do not transfer any of those rights to you.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that measurements will be accurate or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the service — including any injury or worsening of an injury. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will give notice through the service or by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
